REPORTS TO: Vice President Client Engagement

The primary responsibility of the Client Care Advocate is to ensure a holistic approach to our client experience with General Code - an excellent standard of service, a partnership in meeting the total needs of the local municipality and promoting a high utilization of multiple General Code products and services that build client loyalty and contribute to General Code’s growth objectives. This individual utilizes in-depth knowledge of company products and software programs and works across departments to access information to create extraordinary service. Every time.



  • Manages incoming client requests from a variety of states
  • Collaborates with other departments, when necessary, to research and resolve client concerns
  • Contributes to the growth of key company revenue streams confirming scope of work for internal departments
  • Answers and transfers incoming company phone calls in a professional manner
  • Manages various client email inboxes for resolution
    • Maintains a thorough knowledge of and enthusiasm for company products and services and communicates benefits/solutions effectively to clients

Experience and Skills:

  • Three to five years’ experience in an office or business environment, multitasking across departments
  • Four -year degree preferred
  • Strong experience with contact management databases & MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for building client relationships
  • Ability to understand client needs and problem solve
  • Demonstrated experience and aptitude with the use of electronic services
  • Superb organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Works continually towards self-development
  • Personal values that match our corporate values
